To the east is undeveloped land that houses a large forest, and to the west is Lake Michigan, giving residents exceptional privacy and security. Perhaps the most notable area attraction is Holland State Park just minutes away, which is found just to the south of the Spyglass Condominium Complex. Holland State Park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, and features a large beach, two campgrounds, a fishing pier, a restaurant and small souvenir shop, a boardwalk, and a marina. Additionally, the area also has a walking trail with a scenic overlook, a dog beach, and a large resort. To the north of Spyglass Condominiums is Tunnel Park. Named after the tunnel that visitors can walk through to access the beach, this park has a very large playground for the kids, volleyball courts, and picnic benches.

 

Downtown Holland is about a 15- 20 minute drive from the community. This beautiful city is known for its rich history and instantly-recognizable windmills, part of the municipality's Dutch heritage. Here, visitors can explore the various museums, performing arts centers, shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Holland also hosts various festivals and events throughout the year.
